SPINNING

The Spinning program here in Barbados is  not just about exercise. Spinning classes offer a variety of rides, movements, coaching and motivation that keep riders safe, excited and engaged. Partner that with our own Caribbean soca music and the vibes are a winner.

HIIT TRAINING

HIIT – High Intensity Interval Training involves alternating between very intense bouts of exercise and low intensity exercise. For example, sprinting for 30 seconds, then walking for 60 seconds is high intensity interval training. HIIT can be used both anaerobically (in the gym with weights) and aerobically with cardio.

Strength and tone classes at the Caribbean retreat target muscle groups with specialised props and techniques so members can burn fat, increase muscle and become stronger.

boxercise

BOXERCISE

Boxercise is an exercise class based on the training concepts boxers use to keep fit. Classes can take a variety of formats but a typical one may involve shadow-boxing, skipping, hitting pads, kicking punchbags, press-ups, shuttle-runs and sit-ups.

Most boxercise classes are aimed at men and women of all ages and fitness standards. As no class involves the physical hitting of an opponent, it is a fun, challenging and safe workout.

PADDLE BOARDING

SWIMMING

Barbados is famous for its beautiful beaches so it was a must that we incorporated the ocean into our fitness program

Among several benefits , swimming in sea water can help increase your immune system function , improve circulation , promote overall wellbeing and hydrate your skin

Iain our fitness instructor will work with your abilities and motivate to push through your personal levels

If swimming is a weakness don’t let this activity put you off, walking through the shallows can also be very effective.

HIKING

Our hike takes you through cane fields, gullies, tropical forests and coastal communities to explore the unique geological and social structure of Barbados.

Along the way you will meet new friends, enjoy healthy exercise and observe the delicate balance of the unique heritage and environment of Barbados.

PILATES

You’ll get stronger, more sculpted muscles and gain flexibility. You may also have better posture and a better sense of well-being.
