The Anti-flu Smoothie

We have a smoothie that is super when it comes to fighting these invaders that can not only boost their protection, but also help recover faster if they do get sick! This sweet and nutritious orange, pineapple, lime and ginger smoothie is a MUST this summer. Pineapple tastes amazing in smoothies. It has a sweet flavor and is known for its many health benefits. Pineapple is high in vitamin C which can help fight off infections. It also contains bromelain, an enzyme that breaks down protein. It can support digestive health and aids in digestion. Bromelain is also known for its anti-inflammatory benefits. Pineapple is also a great source of manganese, which is a component of antioxidants which help fight free radicals.
- Cup of fresh sliced pineapple
- 2 Cups of juiced oranges
- 1 squeezed lemon
- 1 tsp grated ginger
